Civil Engineer / Fluvial Geomorphologist
About the Job
Fuss & O’Neill, Inc., an east coast engineering consulting firm with a leading
water resources practice, has an opening for a Fluvial Geomorphologist /
Water Resources Specialist in our Manchester, CT office.
This position will engage in the investigation, design & construction of a
wide range of water and related resources projects including dams, dam
removal, river restoration, fish passage, flooding, stormwater management,
water body restoration, water budgets and water quality.
Position will offer professional challenges and unique opportunities for
professional growth in a dynamic, growing and well respected civil and
environmental engineering consulting firm.
Position Requirements:
* M.S. in Fluvial Geomorphology, Hydrology, Civil or Environmental
Engineering including graduate coursework in water resources
* Training or experience with AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or other
similar hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software preferred.
* The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of hydrology
and hydraulics, modeling, geomorphology and river mechanics.
* Public speaking skills a plus
