The Reactor Internals Design &
Analysis II Group within
Westinghouse Electric is currently
seeking a Mechanical Engineer. In
this position, the incumbent can
expect to perform the following
duties:

- Completing structural
analysis including areas of
dynamic, vibratory, thermal and
hydraulic calculations.
- Analyzing structural
components using the most up to
date software and codes including
ANSYS, INVENTOR, LSDYNA, etc.
- Analyzing, understanding,
and interpreting design documents
including drawings and calculation
summaries.
- Interacting with other
engineers and teams at various
levels to ensure high quality
analysis and calculations.
- Working with various codes
related to designs and analysis
such as ASME, AISC, etc.
- Developing documentation
related to calculations and
analysis.
- Occasionally traveling to
customer sites to provide on site
support, provide presentations, and
aid in issue resolution.

A successful candidate would be
familiar with and/or have
experience with the following:

- A Bachelors degree in
Engineering or a related technical
discipline with 2-6 plus years of
industry experience is required.
- Experience running specific
software applications such as
ANSYS, INVENTOR, and, LSDYNA is
required.
- Experience with CFD and CFX
is desirable.
- Developing well written
summaries related to calculations
and analysis of structural
components.
